In Search of My India: As a photographer working on In
Search of My India, I travel across states (from Kashmir to Tamil Nadu to
Ahmedabad to Meghalaya to Madhya Pradesh) to witness the country’s vast
diversity and its quiet, enduring unity. Each region, language, and landscape
reveals a different rhythm of life, yet a shared sense of belonging binds them
together. Growing up in a secular region shaped my belief in coexistence,
dialogue, and mutual respect. Through my lens, I seek a future India rooted in
togetherness where differences of caste, creed, and religion do not divide but
enrich us. This project is my attempt to imagine an India grounded in peace,
dignity, and respect for every human being.
